Safety & Rescue Tech

Job Description:
Trademark Safety & Rescue Ltd provides confined space Attendant/Rescue personnel and equipment for projects that require maintenance people to enter hazardous work areas. We are committed to ensuring that our clients’ confined space projects are completed on time, within budget, and injury-free.

Preparing and packing supplies, equipment (as required) for each project.
Setting up equipment required at the beginning of a project and pack it up at the end.
Conduct a hazard assessment of a confined space.
Develop a Hazard Control and Rescue Plan of a space.
Conducting pre job review with client personnel of the hazards and procedures to follow during the task.
Maintaining accurate, concise documents required by the project.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment used in the project daily.
Providing the initial response to all emergencies (if required).

Job Type: Permanent employee

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 to 12 hour shifts
Day shift
Some Night/Weekends shifts as needed

Answer: The average Fire Pre-Service grad has a long list of training certificates that are pretty much the same as other grads. What we are looking for is someone that has initiative and maturity. It’s the right attitude that understands customers are important to your livelihood and we don’t want a situation were rescue is needed.

Coupled with the customer service and injury mitigation mindset is a belief in lifelong learning as well as that a commitment is an unbreakable promise. We do require you to work in an environment that practices diversity and inclusiveness.

We need you to understand that employment with us is a stepping stone to another career (either in the Fire Service or other vocation). However, ours is a demanding job. We see early mornings and we can work on nights and weekends. Our jobsites can be in dusty buildings or outside. We also regularly work in extreme temperatures. The kicker is we work only when the client wants us, not when we are available. It is not for one who is just interested in sitting around doing nothing.
